t he castle was erected around the middle of the sixteenth century by the Wężyk family. It was built of brick on a small island, it had a plan similar to a square with a side of 20-23 meters. The 1.7-meter-thick perimeter walls included a small courtyard and a two- or three-story residential building at the southern wall. The lowest floor of the building was divided into two rooms.
In the eastern section of the wall, right next to the building, there was a gate and a wicket for pedestrians. The

walls could be topped with a porch and battlements.
Currently, the remains of the castles are the remains of walls and brick rubble. In the years 1976-1977, Jerzy Augustyniak conducted research here. The castle is located on an island in the Agricultural School Complex, about 100 meters north of the main road at its lowest point. From the shore, you can see walls rising to a height of about 2-3 meters.
