t he knight's castle was built of stone and brick in the 1st half of the 14th century. At the turn of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, it was expanded in the Renaissance style and fortified with earth ramparts, bastions and a moat. Soon after, it was surrounded by a perimeter wall. In the eighteenth century, it was in the hands of the Cistercian monastery from Henryków. From 1812 it was royal property, then it was sold to private owners. Rebuilt in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, it lost its original appearance. In the complex of buildings, a square high tower, residential buildings and perimeter walls as well as amphibious fortifications have been preserved.
