In the 1st half of the 17th century, after the destruction, it was rebuilt and surrounded by earth fortifications thanks to the efforts of Zofia née Herbut. Since 1654 it has been in ruins. In the years 1515-1592 it was the property of the Górkas, then until 1631 - the Czarnkowski family, the next 20 years - the Kostka family, 1651-1687

- the Grudziński family, 1687-1700 - the Opaliński family, until 1789 the Sapieha family, 1789-1855 - the von Blankensee, and until 1945 - the Schulenberg family. In 1749-1750, the ruin was rebuilt to the form of the current palace. It was undertaken by Piotr Sapieha, the voivode of Smolensk according to the design of Ignacy Marcin Frantz. However, only the southern and western wings were implemented from the project, and the partially erected northern and eastern wings were demolished at the end of the 18th century. The eastern façade of the west wing was the front of the palace from then on.
