  n  the left bank of the Wisłoka river a replacement of a stronghold is situated and the remains of the castle may be hidden inside. It is situated on an easily noticeable promontory. On its edge there is an outline of what remained of the embankment.
According to the research by F.Kotula in the 70-ies of the 20th century a castle was built here to protect the intersection of the roads leading to Krosno, Rzeszów and Jasło. The rest of the hill might have been occupied by a settlement outside castle walls.
