agments of the ground floor walls of the ducal castle on the hill. It was erected by the prince of Świdnica-Jawor, Bernard from stone on an irregular plan at the beginning of the fourteenth century. It is surrounded by a perimeter wall. It probably consisted of the castle proper and the outer bailey. In the 16th and 18th centuries it was rebuilt, in the 19th century abandoned it fell into ruin.
