r uins of the bishop's castle on the Czarna Przemsza River. It was built by the Duke of Cieszyn Jan in the fourteenth century on an irregular plan. Fortified in the fifteenth century. It was rebuilt and expanded by the bishops of Kraków during the sixteenth century. It had three-storey wings surrounding a courtyard, a hexagonal tower and a moat. It was a place of bishops' courts. In 1655, Stefan Czarniecki stayed there. During the partitions, first in the hands of Austria, then Russia. Abandoned in the nineteenth century. The stone and brick walls of the castle with elements of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and the tower have been preserved.
