n  the island of Lake Przyżercz there was a stronghold, which in 1256 was captured and burned by the Duke of Greater Poland, Przemysław I. After reconstruction, it found itself within the borders of the Duchy of Gdańsk, the last historical mention comes from 1294.
During the excavation by the Germans in 1939, fragments of stone walls were discovered here, from which it can be concluded that stone was used in the reconstruction in the second half of the 13th century.
In 1967-1968, the research of the hillfort was conducted by Barbara Buczek-Płachtowa. |
