the west of the village there is a mountain called Łyżka, rising 607 m above sea level. The top part of the hill is surrounded by a moat and ramparts running outside it. Such an unusual arrangement suggests the existence of a second rampart on the inner side of the moat, but there are no traces of it.
Initially, the castle was probably the property of the prince, then it became the property of the knightly family, later using the Janina coat of arms. Legends say that the name of the mountain comes from the thirteenth century, when, fleeing from the Tatar invasion, Princess Kinga hid her treasury here, and when leaving the castle, she lost a silver spoon.
