n 1473 and 1475, a defensive tower in Potok is mentioned, then the village was the property of Wojtek and Marcin of the Śreniawa coat of arms, writing from Potok. Probably the tower was erected much earlier.
In 1852, probably in the place of this medieval watchtower, Wincenty Krasiński erected a palace, which later passed into the hands of the Raczyński family.
