e castle in Lutomiersk was built in the fourteenth century on the site of a princely stronghold. In 1650, the castle was adapted for monastery rooms, after it was handed over by Andrzej Grudziński to the reformers.
The building was rebuilt many times, only in one - southern - wall, after the plaster was exposed, you can see the bricked-up entrance gate and the supports of the drawbridge. The buildings suffered significantly during the First World War, the Germans then took away the monastery

archive created since the 17th century. By 1926, however, the building was rebuilt and intended for a school and a boarding school, which were taken care of by the Congregation of the Salesians. In 1951, some of the buildings were engulfed in a fire, after which the reconstruction lasted until 1974.
