he ruins of the 'Homola' castle on the top. In the 11th century, there was a stronghold of the so-called Homola, probably erected by the Czechs. The castle was built of stone on an irregular plan with a cylindrical free-standing tower, probably at the end of the 13th cent. on a high mountain (733 m above sea level). In the mid-fourteenth century, the owner of the castle was Tamo Panowicz, the first mention of the building comes from this period. Captured by the Hussites led by Henry the Pole in 1427, it became their main base in this area until 1433. In the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries it was ruled by robber knights. It fell into ruin after being abandoned around 1560. The remains of the walls and the ruins of the castle tower have been preserved.
