Castle in Krokowa

 don't know when the local castle was built. In today's building, which has a more palatial character, you can still see defensive elements, including the moat. For over 600 years - until the end of World War II - the castle belonged to the Krokowski family (after Germanization - von Krokow). After the war, improper management of the new owner, the State Agricultural Farm, led to serious damage and destruction of the facility.

The von Krokow family has recently established a foundation, thanks to which it was possible to collect adequate funds in Poland and Germany to save the monument. It houses the Centre for European Meetings, under the patronage of the Polish and German authorities.
