o n the Orla River, in the former royal castle, there is an Agricultural Technical School. It was erected in the second half of the fourteenth century by Maciek Borkowic, the voivode of Poznań. This voivode was later sentenced to death by Casimir the Great to death by starvation for rebellion. It was founded on a quadrilateral plan with a tower with a plan similar to a circle, surrounded by a wall. In the 16th century, Andrzej Górka rebuilt it into a Renaissance residence. In 1848, the insurgent headquarters had its headquarters here. The castle was rebuilt again in the second half of the nineteenth century. In the existing buildings, fragments of Renaissance architecture have been preserved, there is also a part of the moat.
