Castle in Korytowo

he first defensive complex in Korytów was the castle of the Knights of St. John from the 12th century. In the first half of the 16th century, in a new place in the immediate vicinity of the former castle, the Goltz family erected a fortified manor. It had a rectangular plan and probably three storeys. At the end of the 16th century, the complex was enlarged by an additional, lower wing.

the second half of the eighteenth century, on the remains of the demolished manor house, the currently existing Baroque manor house was erected in this place. It does not exactly coincide with the Goltz manor in the plan. In the nineteenth century, it was enlarged by smaller side wings.

The last renovation took place in the 80s of the twentieth century.
