Castle in Kodeń

uins of the castle on the Bug River. It was built by the Sapieha family in the 16th century, and then in the 17th century fortified with earth fortifications. In the 2nd half of the 17th century, it was destroyed by the Swedes during the Deluge. During the reconstruction, it was transformed into a palace in the Baroque style. In the mid-eighteenth century, it was abandoned by its owners, later it was partially demolished.

Today, you can see fragments of the castle walls, the remains of fortifications and the preserved castle church.
