the west of the town, fragments of a quadrangular tower of a castle erected by Primate Henryk Firlej in the early 17th century have been preserved. During the Swedish Deluge, the castle, like many buildings of this type, suffered significant damage, and it was not until 1717 that bishop Ludwik Załuski undertook its reconstruction. In 1831, the building burned down.
