Castle in Boleszkowice

n a small hill there was a stronghold of the knight Kilian - Kiliansburg. In its place, the Uchtenhagens built a brick castle after 1525. The stone and brick building with a small courtyard was probably surrounded by earthen fortifications. The castle was not connected to the also earthen fortifications of the settlement of Boleszkowice, located nearby. After being abandoned in the 15th century, it quickly fell into complete ruin and was never rebuilt. In the 19th and 20th centuries, there were still fragments of walls visible on the surface, but now only a mound among the meadows remains, hiding all the remains under the surface of the earth.
