Castle in Biała Nyska

he first mention of a borough in Biała Nyska is in the records of 1285. In the years 1292-1296 a castle was built on its site by the duke of Świdnica and Jawor, Bolko I. As soon as the construction had been completed in 1296 it was pulled down on the strenght of the agreement between the duke and the Wrocław bishop, Jan III. In the 18th century, probably on the site of the castle a palace surrounded by water was built.
