Castle in Aksmanice

 spectacular castle was founded in Aksmanice by Mikołaj Wolski, the Grand Crown Marshall, the owner of the Aksmanice estates from 1617. (according to A. Schneider "Encyklopedia do Krajoznawstwa Galicyi",1871) There is no other evidence of the existence of fortifications in Aksmanice. It was probably devastated in the late 17th century during Tartar's invasions.
